The Inspiration for this painting happend down in the keys near the Islamorada area. I wanted the viewer to fell as if they were at the perfect marina getting ready to take off for a fishing trip in the keys. The soft play on tones, and balance between cool and warm colors is very soothing. The bench is so inviting with its beautiful turquoise colors and purple shadows swaying from the southern breeze. Heavens Harbor is a personal favorite and I hope theres a bench like this waiting for all of us when its time.
